Sonarr delete torrent after download

Yes. It works. It's fantastic. In addition to enabling "Completed Download Handling" is enabled and "Remove" option is checked in Advanced, in your Torrent program (I'm using qBittorrent) make sure you set a rule to end the torrent after a certain time of seeding or upload, as the action takes place after the torrent is fully completed, not just when it finishes downloading. You'll need to setup your torrent client to pause when seed time/ratio goals are met. And you'll need to configure those goals, Sonarr has them as a per-indexer setting, but Radarr doesn't. This setting impacts usenet too, it should delete them after import. That said, I do still occasionally visit my usenet download folder and cleanup. Seconded, its not Sonarr's responsibility to delete the torrent out of the download client. If OP is having post process issues, they should look into using Hardlinks instead of just having Sonarr copying the content to a new folder location.

Set logs in Sonarr to Trace (temporarily) and download + import/copy the episode, then provide the log if the above doesn't work. 1. level 2. [deleted] · 2y. SAB and Transmission remove the downloads from their download list. But the files stay in the temporary download folder after Sonarr copies them to the media drive. If the "Completed Download Handling - Remove Completed" option is enabled in Sonarr's settings, Sonarr will delete the original file and torrent from your download client, but only if the download client reports that seeding is complete and torrent is stopped. After latest update i see that torrents that met the seeding limit set would get paused in download client and never get removed from it. Movie is correctly linked after the download completed but i see no event called for remove the torrent from the download client.

Sonarr and Lidarr both do this, its only Radarr that does not. When a file is downloaded and sent to the monitored folder, Radarr correctly identifies the file an imports it to my movie cache in its own named folder. Plex even picks it up just fine. It just does not delete the download file from the monitored folder. I don’t know why I can’t find this as a feature, maybe this should be in feature request. I am coming from SickBeard and need the option to delete other files after moving/renaming the completed downloads. ie. Files are downloaded to a complete folder. Sonarr renames the download and places it in tv shows under the show and season. But now I have all of the other files left in the complete.
